Maine Whitewater Rafting, Canoeing and Kayaking with Inn, B&B, Housekeeping Apartment & Campground Lodging: Inn by the River's Outdoor Adventures with P&S Rafting and Guide Service is the ultimate facility for your recreational plans. Rafting, ducky and canoe trips customized to fit your needs. Superior lodging (AAA), gourmet food, outstanding river views and the finest hospitality in the area. Thrilling whitewater action, wet and wild, the Kennebec, Dead and Penobscot Rivers have it all. River action for every ability and age group. Overnights, rafting, ducky and canoe trips available from April through October. Canoe trips can be day trips to multiple day trips such as following Thoreau’s five day journey through the wilderness down the Penobscot River to Chesumcook Lake. All our Guides are registered and licensed Maine Guides. There is a nationally registered EMT on every trip. Our facility is a AAA rated, air-conditioned resort. We offer rooms with a river view, jacuzzi tubs and a sun porch. We also have a two-bedroom housekeeping apartment that will sleep 12 people, and a campground. We have a full service pub & a fine dining restaurant. Altogether we provide you with the finest hospitality in the area!

   
 

Additional Amenities & Services: Fishing is one of our favorite pastimes. Our local trout and salmon population challenge anglers in our streams, rivers and ponds. Bass fishing is also popular as the weather warms up. Fishing guides and boats are available upon request. The Forks area abounds with small and big game. Many hunting packages are available, please call for more information. Additional activities offered include hiking, fishing, foliage viewing, hunting, and snowmobiling.
